Chocolate Brownie Affogato Recipe

I have to admit that I have a serious sweet tooth.

Most of the time I keep it under wraps, but come the festive seasonĀ I feel that itā€™s only necessary to indulge a little. And an affogato is my number one indulgence, just the ticket after that turkey starts making you sleepy – it’s my answer to Christmas pudding! To celebrate the festive season, Nespresso have launched a new Variation Grands Crus which have taken inspiration from the coffee traditions of Vienna and the aromas of three of Austriaā€™s most famous pastries. Naturally, I took inspiration from these for a festive inspired coffee recipe – a brownie affogato.

Chocolate Brownie Affogato Recipe

Ingredients

(Makes 3)

6 shots of Nespresso Sachertorte Ā at 40ml each.
Soft Vanilla Gelato/Ice Cream
A brownie (I used raw brownies I made at home)
Chocolate Shavings
Cream (optional)
Glasses

How to

1. Extract your Nespresso.
2. Add a slice of brownie to the glass.
3. On top of that add a scoop of VanillaĀ gelato.
4. Drown the brownie and ice cream in the espresso, add some cream on top (optional) and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
Enjoy… quickly!
