What Projects Would you Like to see Here in 2016?

Uncategorized Jan 5, 2016

Hey guys! I keep thinking about how great it was to hear all your book recommendations a few months ago (I’ve read sooooo many of them – you guys made my year), and so I thought it would be nice to start the year with another question put to you. Namely, what type of DIY projects do you want to see here this year?

If you’ve been following along for a while you’ll know that the types of DIYs that I do has evolved over time, for the first few years they focused on fashion, but as my interests (and I think many of yours too) have evolved, I’ve put my hand to lots of other ones including interior projects, flower projects and recipes. Generally I try to post around two DIY posts a week (as well as a mix of other content), and what they are is largely determined by ideas I have from inspiration online and IRL. What would be amazing is to hear more about what you would like to see, what things interest you the most.

What do you want to see? Some ideas could include:

  • Fashion – sewing, no sew, before & after, shoes, accessories
  • Home – furniture, decorating, soft furnishings
  • Entertaining – table settings, paper crafts etc
  • Flowers and plants
  • Recipes

The second part is about what level of difficulty you like – do you prefer realllllly easy and quick projects that can be done in ten minutes orrrr are you about the more difficult ones that take more time but have (perhaps) a more detailed/durable outcome.

As a side note, I understand that this is completely subjective, and chances are you’ll all have different opinions on what you’d like to see. But that doesn’t stop me wanting to hear from you and learn more about what you like. Thanks in advance for any insights you want to share. Or don’t. No pressure! Here’s to a year of inspiring projects we can all make and share together.
