Holiday Drink Idea: The Pomegranate Sipper

Cocktail Club Dec 24, 2015

The Pomegranate Sipper

A few years ago when we were living in London, Ben came up with this idea for a simple bellini style cocktail/mocktail using pomegranate juice. I’m not sure where the idea came from (possibly something we’d had while out), but either way it has become a tradition – our go to drink for Christmas day, regardless of whether we’re in London, Hong Kong or Australia. We found it hard to get our hands on pomegranate juice the year we were travelling in Thailand, but we made do. Enjoy the holidays guys!

The Pomegranate Sipper

  • 1/4 cup of pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 a cup of soda water / lemonade (if you want it sweeter) orrrrr prosecco/champagne if you want it a little more boozy
  • 1/4 cup of cranberry juice (optional)
  • Dash of fresh lemon juice
  • fresh pomegranate seeds

All you have to do to make this simple drink is to mix the ingredients together and then… drink! Replace the prosecco with soda/lemonade to make it a mocktail.

Do you have any special holiday season / christmas dishes or drinks you always have?
