Currently Wearing: Trans-seasonal Essentials

Outfits Sep 3, 2014

The weather is very slowly beginning to turn here in Hong Kong, if you’ve ever been in August you’ll know that the heat of summer is oppressive and has you wishing (other than when you’re on a boat) that it would be over. In the spirit of the trans-season, the team at Jack Wills recently asked me to style a few of their new collection pieces and I couldn’t help but gravitate to old faithful essentials – the striped tee, shorts and khaki jacket. Perfect ‘it’s not quite cold yet but I wish it would be’ kinda outfit.

To celebrate the new AW14 collection, we recently got together with Jack Wills for their event and created a range of super fun embellished cuffs inspired by their new designs. It was a fantastic afternoon of crafting, sipping and general merriment and we can’t wait to do it again! A big thanks to my partner in crime Alanna for helping me create this project and deliver the day.

In other news, I’m surpised and elated that Bloglovin have nominated me for ‘best lifestyle blog’ of 2014 (head over here to vote and view the other nominees), and I couldn’t think of a better reason to head out New York for a few days tomorrow.  And so after a week spent in Kyoto with my mum (amazing city – can’t wait to share!), it’s back on a plane I go!
