A Pair & A Spare started in 2009 as a way to share simple DIY tutorials, and has grown into an online hub for fashion and lifestyle inspiration. If you’re looking for DIY ideas, tutorials or help with techniques, you’ve come to the right place. The Girl

Originally from Australia and now living in Hong Kong, Geneva Vanderzeil believes in a creative approach to fashion and  recently published her first book ‘DIY Fashionista‘, a collection of 40 chic DIY fashion projects as well as guides on sewing, thrifting and creating the ultimate before and after projects. Proving that DIY and traditional fashion can be seamlessly combined, Geneva regularly works with magazines including Vogue Australia, Harper’s Bazaar and Lucky Magazine, hosts events for brands such as Coach and Harvey Nichols and recently launched a shoe collection with Tony Bianco.
