My Five Minute Face

In virtually all parts of my life I’m about efficiency, particularly when it comes to make up – I’m all about products that do double duty, and ones that help you look great in limited time. In the last few years, as life has become more busy and I feel like I’m always rushing off somewhere (ahem, always running slightly late), I’ve built a pretty foolproof 5 minute beauty routine. Ok, yes there are those days when I have more time to work on my look, but often 5 minutes is all I have. Clinique recently asked me to share with you my five minute face routine, scroll down or head over to Elle to see more.

Step One

After moisturizing, I use Clinique’s Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation & Concealer in Honey. I use the pointed end of the applicator to spot apply concealer under my eyes and to any blemishes.

Step Two

I then use the flat side of the applicator to apply a light coverage of foundation to the rest of my face.

Step Three

Next, I like to frame my face by strengthening my brows. I use MAC Eye Brows in Lingering to add some weight to my brows. I first use a spoolie brush to brush my brows upwards and then fill them in lightly with the pencil. All about brows! But I try not to make them too sharp in the middle.

Step Four

I then add a light brush of Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in rose to my cheeks using a bronzer brush.

Step Five

I add a light line of liquid eyeliner at the base of my top lashes, and then give them a brush of Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in black, building the weight at the base rather than the ends for a more natural look.

Step Six

Finally, to top if all off I use a Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Fuller Fig to my lips for a boost to my natural lip colour.
