DIY INSPIRATION – NEON BEADING

Ok so I’m pretty sure that an amazing beaded piece like this is way outside my skill set, but a girl can dream (of what she can make) right? This was one of my favourite Sass & Bide pieces at the Electric Sekki press day a few weeks ago – the girls had a hard slog getting it off me but alas, we parted ways at the end of the night. Perhaps this calls for some DIY neon beading action? Challenge… accepted!

Actually, you could use a neon beaded or studded belt and sew it onto a sequined dress. You could also see on neon beaded necklaces. Just a few suggestions.

I definitely think it’s DIY-able, but will take a bit of planning and thought. Perhaps use one of your body-con dresses to create a tube dress, add straps, then chalk about where the beading should be.
You should be able to get strips of beading so you don’t need to sew/glue on ALL the individual beads.
otherwise, there’ll be some movie marathons at your place for awhile I imagine!
