DIY INSPIRATION: ANKLETS

Anklets are back. Bigtime. Perhaps for you they never left, but for me the last time I wore them was at Glastonbury a few years ago. There are so many options for anklets – beaded, chains, rope, friendship bracelets, and no reason who you shouldn’t make them yourself – in fact you’d be mad not to. I wonder if this is the start of something major, and soon we’ll all be wearing stacked ankles? For the time being I’m a big fan of the delicate gold and silver versions like the one lovely Nicole is wearing below – here’s a little inspiration!

totally love anklets. at the moment I wear my boyfriend’s bracelet (made of braid leather) and try to widen it enough to wear it as an anklet when it’s finally getting warm soon (hopefully)

I always put on an anklet for summer but have to take it off due to sport requirements, love the dainty one in the first picture but the best ones are when you braid them yourself

That girl in the denim shorts looks totally fab. I have to admit, I am not big on anklets myself. I hate my ankles so avoid anything that draws attention to them – if I liked them, I’d totally wear them though! x
